On December 4th, Navantia hosted an exclusive technological event at the Center for Innovation and Technology Design Services in Ferrol, bringing together professionals and experts in innovation applied to the naval and defense sector. This event, held in collaboration with HI-Iberia and Accenture, stood out as a forum for showcasing cutting-edge technologies that are transforming this strategic field.
During the event, the impact and capabilities of SEDA Deep Learning Subrogated Models (DLSM), (DLSM) and other emerging technologies were explored, highlighting their potential as essential tools to enhance efficiency and security in naval operations
The agenda featured a detailed explanation of the phases and scope of the SEDA project, along with presentations of use cases and specialized talks. These addressed topics such as the use of artificial intelligence in surveillance and predictive maintenance, as well as the potential of 5G and NTN networks to optimize communications in defense environments.
Among the highlights were two live demonstrations of SEDA, showcasing the practical applicability of these innovations. The first utilized the dedicated servers of HI Iberia’s data center, while the second integrated the AMIGO module within a 5G mobile network bubble developed by Accenture, connected to the Internet via a Starlink satellite antenna. This demo successfully illustrated how SEDA can operate in advanced and connected environments, demonstrating its capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and technological adaptability in real-world scenarios.
Finally, the event showcased how these solutions can be integrated into the Navantia Digital Platform, providing clients with advanced technological tools to address sector challenges and remain at the forefront of innovation.
